This is how Google and the other large search engines work by not providing us with the exact answer to how they determine a site’s rankings in their results. However, the experts agree that relevancy and authority are a large factor in the search engine’s algorithms. All of the major search engines give us best practices and basic guidelines for what they look for; but, it is unlikely they will ever tell us everything that goes into their algorithms.
